Printed Electronics
Organic and printed electronics is based on the combination of new materials and cost-effective, large area production processes that open up new fields of applications. Thin, light-weight, flexible and environmentally friendly -that`s what organic electronics means. It also enables a wide range of electrical componets that can be produced and directly integrated in low cost reel-to-reel processes.
Intelligent packaging, low cost RFDI (radio-frequency identification) transponders, rollable displays, flexible solar cells, ligthing, disposable diagnostic devices or games, and printed batteries are just a few examples of promising fields of application for organic electronics based on new large scale processable electrically conductive and semi-conducting materials.
